Security Guard Training

If you are seeking employment in the security guard industry, and are not currently licensed, London Training Centre has partnered with Ontario Security HUB to assist you in obtaining the requisite Ministry training. 

Complete your security guard education online, and First Aid Training in person with London Training Centre.

Meet Eligibility Requirements 

1. Be at least 18 years old. 
2. Eligible to work in Canada. 
3. Have a clean criminal record according to Ontario Regulation 37/08, pursuant to the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005.

Complete Online Security Guard Course

• Course Length: 33.5 hours (Self-paced)
• The online course covers the 11 topics from the Ministry's syllabus.
• Mobile-friendly on phones and tablets, accessible through desktop.
• Take as much time as needed to complete the course; no time limits on course access.
• Direct access to instructors via email, live chat, and phone for any questions.

Complete WSIB-approved First-Aid Training

• First-aid training can be completed before, during, or after the Security Guard Course.
• Emergency First-aid and CPR Training are the minimum requirements for the Ontario Security Guard License.
• Certifications more advanced than Emergency First-aid and CPR training are recommended and accepted
