MHFA 2-Day Certification Course
Overview:
Comprehensive, evidence-based training that provides official Mental Health First Aid Certification.
Who it’s for:
Open to anyone ages 16+ - ideal for workplaces, community groups, and volunteers who want recognized MHFA skills.
Format & Duration:
- 2 full days
- Instructor-led sessions, discussions, and activities
Key Learning Outcomes:
- Recognize signs of common mental health concerns (depression, anxiety, substance use, psychosis, etc.)
- Use the MHFA action plan to support someone in distress or crisis
- Respond to self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or other emergencies
- Build confidence while maintaining personal wellbeing and boundaries
- Online test after training to complete within 7 days. If the test is not complete, you will receive a certificate of participation.
- Must get 75% to pass the test.
What You Receive:
- A clear understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Mental Health First Aider
- Official MHFA Certification (valid for 3 years) upon successful completion of the online test
- Course manual & reference materials
